The war on "liberal science" continues as America becomes a laughingstock for the enlightened world. Yes, our students are insufficiently ignorant of science, and we should be sure to teach them more mythology as science. Meanwhile, the petroleum industry is thankful for the uninformed support of all the bible-beaters, at the same time their HR departments wonder why they can't find any well-educated candidates for employment.

In Kentucky, a bill recently introduced in the Legislature would encourage teachers to discuss “the advantages and disadvantages of scientific theories,” including “evolution, the origins of life, global warming and human cloning.”
